These are made from seven strands of stainless steel wire coated with nylon.. Wire lines also feature a steel coast lock snap and a crane swivel for smooth casting
They are available in different lengths, colors, and line weights:
- 18 inches: 40 lb. black stainless steel wire that is wrapped to maintain strength
- 12 inches: 40 lb. line weight
- 6 inches: 30 lb. test stainless steel wire
Boone Stainless Steel Leader also offers tungsten wires that are made with black stainless steel swivels and snaps.
