Diamond Brite Blue Quartz is a pool finish that combines quartz aggregates, polymer-modified cement, and fortified white Portland cement. It’s available in various colors and textures and is suitable for new and refinished pools.
It creates a light blue water color that can highlight the details of a pool. It’s durable, comfortable, and easy to maintain.
It finishes can last 8–15 years. Signs that its finished and needs resurfacing include scaling, etching, or cracking. To keep the finish bright, some recommend acid washing it after about five years.
