The Blue Fish Skin Bait Rig is a fishing lure that’s used to catch baitfish. The hooks have small fish skins attached, and a shiny metal piece that sways in the water when the weight is lowered. The word “sabiki” is Japanese for “to catch fish”. The rig is designed to mimic a school of baitfish. Sabiki rigs typically have six to eight hooks, each tied to a separate branch line attached to a mainline. The line weight and hook size determine the size of the fish you can catch.
